The orginal version of Funky
Broadway(parts one and two) from Dyke and The
Blazers. This is the first known time that
the word "Funky" was used in a song.
You\'re right. I\'ve never heard of Dyke and the Blazers. But I do believe that I\'ve heard this song before. Not sure where, and I\'m probably wrong anyway.
One thing is certain: This song is indeed funky.
I have to agree with Dirk, I\'ve never heard the group before, but I\'ve heard Wilson Pickett\'s version of the song.
